Chaplain Kirk
Ruehl began work with our Hospice in the summer of 2003. He works
primarily with in-home patients and their families from Finley to
Prosser, Kennewick to Connell. Chaplain Ruehl aims to provide
strong and faithful companionship regardless of patient's
religious or spiritual orientation. Sacred scripture and
contemporary poetry inform his work and he delights in spirited
conversation or the quiet of shared company. Since becoming a
professional chaplain in 1994, he has served the maritime,
transportation and hospital communities in several states. He
holds a Masters of Divinity degree and has been board certified
with the Association of Professional Chaplains since 1998.
